This is a great shot showing the results of Chloe's shunt-placement surgery.
What looks like a big thick vein running down the side of her head and behind her ear is actually the shunt tube. In diameter, it's about the same size as the tubes that have been going down her nose and into her stomach.
The slimy ooze on top of her head is actually just some Neosporin to help her heal from her incision.
If you look closely at the slimy spot, you can actually see her stitches. Cool!
